Ho'okipa mango tenor. Padauk fretboard, bridge, and double bindings. This mango is luscious, straight-grain wood on the top, with a chevron pattern to the back. If you’re unfamiliar with padauk, it is a wood that oxides when cut to a brilliant red orange. I’m happy to say it mellows to a rich port wine color. Big, bold, beautiful tone to match. Bone saddle, ebony nut. Strung low G.
